North Manchester Hospital part of Manchester Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint committed and compassionate radiographers to join our CT Team.
The workload is varied and we do many complex scanning procedures, the department has three CT scanners, across both North Manchester Hospital and the CDC sites.
The Cross sectional department consists of a friendly team who all rotate through North Manchester and CDC sites on a shift pattern rota, covering seven day / 24 hour working
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate an interest in CT scanning and have some experience of working in the CT environment, although full training will be given to the right candidate.
The CT department at North Manchester General is very busy and we scan a lot of patients from all areas of the hospital. You will need to work with a large team of Radiographers including Radiologists, Radiology Assistants and Interventional Nurses.
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the operational delivery of a high quality, safe and efficient CT imaging.
- To provide supervision and training for junior Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, Radiographic helpers and Student Radiographers.
