Contract Type: 3 X Permanent

We are recruiting for a CT Radiographer who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards “great people, great place”.

This is a truly exciting time to join our team as we work in the newly developed Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) that delivers first-class diagnostic care to our community.

The new centre has created the ability to deliver joined up diagnostic care, and with increased capacity this ensures our patients have faster access to treatment, earlier diagnosis, and improved outcomes.

By becoming part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in innovative ways and play a central role in how we improve patient pathways, delivering the right test, at the right time, in the right place.

We are looking for experienced CT Radiographers to come and work in our forward-thinking department. Our normal practice would be to develop staff internally however an exciting opportunity has arisen for external candidates to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • To conduct a wide range of CT scans upon a range of patient types, both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi-professional team, in a manner that meets professional, departmental and legal standards and requirements.
  • Participate in the out of hours on call rota.
  • Radiographers practice will involve lone working in particular specialties and at particular times.
  • Patient presentation will include the unconscious, uncooperative, incapacitated, incompetent, disorientated and those with physical and mental disabilities. A wide variety of patients will be encountered and will include those exhibiting anti-social behaviour including both un-convicted and legally convicted e.g. prisoners.
  • Other influencing factors include the skills needed to provide patients or relatives with empathy and emotional support for the bereaved, terminally ill, injured, traumatised or those altered by substance use/abuse.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
