What You’ll Do
As a Junior Chef / Kitchen Porter / Food Prep Assistant, your role involves:

- Preparing and creating food to exact specification, from fine dining to casual meals, showcasing your passion for culinary arts and adaptability to diverse cuisines and guest preferences
- Assisting the culinary team to ensure a seamless, timely, and professional catering service across the restaurant
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to maintain workflow and a high-quality dining environment
- Upholding cleanliness, order, and efficiency in high-demand kitchens and service areas
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing, and trading standards, aligning with Delaware North’s strict standards of excellence
More About You
Requirements
- No formal qualifications required
- Relevant experience (where possible) in catering or hotel kitchens is beneficial
- Strong communication, teamwork, organisation, time management, and attention to detail
Physical & Workplace Requirements
- Ability to stand for the full shift duration
- Comfort with handling various meat and food products
- Flexibility to work matchdays and major event days
