D. M. Keith is a family-run automotive retailer with over 50 years of history and is the UK’s largest privately owned ŠKODA retailer. With thirteen sites across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, the group offers extensive stock of new and approved used ŠKODA vehicles. D. M. Keith also operates Honda, SEAT, CUPRA, Ford, and Kia dealerships, providing a wide range of models for private, business, and Motability customers. Role Description

The Cupra Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at the Grimsby dealership. This position is responsible for:

  • Welcoming and engaging customers
  • Identifying their needs
  • Presenting CUPRA vehicles and associated products in a professional, approachable manner

Daily tasks include:

  • Managing test drives
  • Preparing tailored quotations
  • Handling finance and insurance options within regulatory guidelines
  • Overseeing the sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover

The role involves:

  • Maintaining accurate records in dealership systems
  • Following up leads promptly
  • Working closely with colleagues to achieve individual and team sales targets

The Cupra Sales Executive is also expected to:

  • Keep up to date with CUPRA product knowledge
  • Support showroom presentation
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service before and after the sale

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive sales or a similar customer-facing sales role, with strong skills in customer engagement and relationship building.
  • Ability to identify customer needs, present solutions clearly, and negotiate effectively to close sales in a professional manner.
  • Competence in managing sales administration, including use of dealership systems, accurate documentation, and compliance with finance and insurance processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical and financial information in a clear, accessible way.
  • Comfort working in a target-driven environment, with good time management, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Interest in the automotive sector and enthusiasm for the CUPRA brand, with willingness to maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work dealership hours, including weekends and bank holidays as required.
