About Art Voyage
Art Voyage Biennial is a UK-based, non-profit international platform committed to advancing cultural exchange and creativity through contemporary art. By connecting diverse communities, it develops innovative programmes that nurture and empower emerging artists, curators, and art professionals.
Role Description
This is a remote, learning-focused internship programme designed for motivated individuals passionate about contemporary art and cultural exchange.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to support and learn from the team across a range of activities, including programme coordination, research, communication and outreach, training support, and stakeholder engagement.
The role is structured to provide hands-on experience, professional exposure, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to international art initiatives while developing your own skills.

Available Internship Areas
1. Curatorial Internship
Gain insight into how exhibitions are developed from concept to execution.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Conduct research on artists, themes, institutions, and potential collaborators
- Support the development of programme ideas, concepts, and narratives
- Assist with writing and editing, including:
- proposals and grant applications
- programme and curatorial content development
- website and communication materials
- Contribute to content creation across digital platforms
- Support coordination of projects, contributors, and timelines
- Assist with general programme development and delivery

2. Social Media & Content Internship
Learn how to build and grow an arts platform through digital storytelling.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Support content creation for Instagram and other platforms
- Learn how to plan and schedule posts
- Explore audience engagement and analytics
- Contribute ideas for campaigns and storytelling
This is ideal for:
- Creatives interested in social media, branding, and storytelling
- Individuals with a strong visual sense and curiosity for digital culture
- Anyone looking to build a portfolio in content creation
3. Graphic Design Internship
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing promotional materials, including social media graphics, event posters, and exhibition catalogs.
- Developing branding assets and layouts for both print and digital platforms.
- Editing and formatting images and artwork for various marketing channels.
- Assisting in the conceptualization and execution of creative campaigns.
- Collaborating with curators and the communications team to maintain a consistent visual identity.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and branding.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with video editing and motion graphics is an advantage.
- Interest in contemporary art and cultural projects is preferred.
- Experience with online marketing and Social media content creation are plus but not essential.
- Experience with WordPress, Elementor, Mojo, Canva, and Figma

4. Business & Arts Management Internship
Understand how an arts organisation operates behind the scenes.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Support planning and coordination of events and exhibitions
- Gain exposure to fundraising and partnerships
- Assist with research and administrative tasks
- Learn about strategy, budgeting, and project development
This is ideal for:
- Students or graduates in Business, Arts Management, or similar fields
- Individuals interested in the operational side of the arts
- Those who want to gain insight into how cultural projects are delivered
