Join us as a Corporate FX Sales Director

We’re looking for an experienced FX salesperson to join our UK Corporate FX team in London, managing a portfolio of international customers and supporting the growth of the business.

Your responsibilities will include leading engagements with key stakeholders, product partners and customers and supporting the development of the FX product offering in line with customer needs.

This is a great opportunity to assume a leadership role within NatWest Market’s UK Corporate FX team, and play a crucial role in driving the continued success of the UK Corporate FX business, while providing value-added FX support to the bank’s core corporate client base.

What you'll do

In your new role, you'll lead the delivery and growth of the UK Corporate FX Sales business serving corporate customers. As well as being responsible for growing FX and FX Option revenue from a portfolio of large and medium-sized corporate clients, you will play a key role in defining and driving the future direction of the UK Corporate FX business.

You’ll also be:

  • Reporting directly into the Head of the UK Corporate Mid-Market FX Sales business, playing a vocal and proactive role in the FX Corporate Sales Management team, and making impactful contributions to identifying and driving strategic initiatives within the business.
  • Representing the UK Corporate FX business among key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring NatWest Markets remains a highly visible and priority product partner to Corporate and Commercial bankers across the region, and has access to customers served by other parts of the wider NatWest group, as appropriate.
  • Managing a portfolio of key Corporate FX clients and working with product specialists, such as Digital FX, Structuring and Trading, to promote our capabilities among clients, making sure that the bank’s resources and the client relationship is being optimised.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the Corporate FX business, working with divisions across the bank.
  • Leading a team of FX and FX Option solutions focused colleagues serving clients across the region, determining optimal client coverage, planning for the business’ resourcing needs, recruiting and retaining the talent required to meet the business’ objectives.
  • Leading efforts in the region to define, target and convert a prioritised list of new business opportunities from within NatWest’s corporate client base and beyond, working in partnership with stakeholders across the bank.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
