About The Role

As a Curriculum Support Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the local curriculum administrative services function where a level of professional autonomy, independent decision making and proactiveness is required. Your focus will be to administrate the ‘Student Journey’ from application to certification and progression in a ‘Student First’ focused team.

You will be providing a pro-active service in a busy, fast paced curriculum administrative services function and will be providing an effective, student focused support across the college which oversees the curriculum and student journey administration. You will be required to engage in a professional training plan that supports the delivery of an excellent service.

This is a temporary maternity cover role for 12 months from the start date, or until the postholder returns to work.

Main Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in staffing the curriculum administrative service function during core business hours with a need for flexibility
  • Maintain an excellent standard of administrative support to assigned clusters of curriculum academy areas
  • Administer the Sparks Teaching Services commissions and timesheets process
  • Receive and make telephone calls, taking messages, answering queries, and directing enquiries to appropriate colleagues/teams
  • Deliver various curriculum administrative systems and processes
  • Engage in embedding the colleges curriculum administrative systems and processes
  • Service various internal meetings, including preparing meeting agendas and papers, distributing these timely, producing high quality, accurate meeting notes and recording and monitoring follow up actions
  • Deliver an excellent customer service experience
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with service users of the administrative service function

As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £26,916 - £29,225 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
