- Salary: £29,949.50 in the first year, rising to £32,022.90 per annum after that
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
About the Role
Turn your customers’ houses into stylish, personal homes—one perfect fit at a time. As a Curtain & Blind Fitter in our Made to Measure team, you’ll visit customers in their homes to measure, install, and deliver exceptional window treatments. It’s about precision, skill, and warmth—crafting a seamless experience that leaves clients delighted.
If you love working with your hands, enjoying hands-on tasks with tools like drills and tape measures, this is the role for you. You’ll be the face of our brand, combining professionalism with a smile—making sure every customer feels valued and leaves with confidence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Customer Obsession: Prioritise joyful, thoughtful experiences that delight customers.
- Hands-On Fitting: Visit clients’ homes to measure windows precisely and install curtains/blinds expertly.
- Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) through a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Fitting Expertise: Master measuring, adjusting, and installing a range of window dressings with care.
- Customer Engagement: Field queries on-site, troubleshoot issues, and escalate concerns professionally.
- Self-Management: Organise your own schedule, meet deadlines, and maintain your van/tools efficiently.
- Health & Professionalism: Uphold safety standards and representative the Dunelm brand with pride.

Requirements
Essentials
- Full UK driving licence (essential for client visits)
- Customer-first mindset—Approachable, professional, and focused on delivering exceptional service
- Practical aptitude: Comfort working with drills, measures, and basic tools (training provided)
- Attention to detail: Pride in quality work, error-free fittings
- Flexible attitude: Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends to suit customer needs
Desirable (But Not Essential):
- Previous experience in fitting, trade, or hands-on roles
- Background in customer-facing positions
