Custom Club Technician
The main purpose of this role is to participate in the assembly of custom build golf clubs and to achieve predetermined service levels, production and quality targets.
Applicants will need to have previous experience of working in a similar role and although training can be provided those with Custom Club experience at Callaway will be at an advantage.

Primary Responsibilities
- The operation of specialized machinery to produce custom build golf clubs to agreed technical specifications
- To operate machinery using approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- To work with colleagues, Team Leaders, and the Production Supervisor to achieve pre-determined targets and ensure high levels of quality are achieved and maintained.
- To undertake all reasonable tasks efficiently and with enthusiasm and professionalism as requested by Senior Club Technicians, Team Leaders and/or the Production Supervisor.
- To strive to achieve high quality standards and report errors.
- To maintain a clean and hazard free working environment.
- To always follow and adhere to Health and Safety rules and guidelines.
- Any ad hoc duties assigned, including working in different departments within the SuperHub, as required.

Skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly or workshop environment.
- Hand/eye coordination.
- Willingness to learn and absorb information and knowledge relating to Callaway products.
- The ability to work independently and also as part of a wider team.
- Must be physically fit to undertake various manual handling tasks.

While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to:
- Stand for prolonged periods

- Twist at the neck and waist
- Use hands to perform simple and power grasping techniques
- Pushing and pulling
- Lifting and carrying
- Controlled risk of exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals
- Controlled risk of exposure to vibration
- Requirement to use personal protective equipment as instructed

- KNOWLEDGE – learn and maintain relevant technical skills and knowledge. Become familiar with procedures and their objectives and understand the relationship of one part of the build process with others.
