CUSTOMER ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Fly By Nite is a trusted transport and logistics provider, delivering specialist services to customers across a range of sectors including live events, entertainment, corporate, retail and commercial industries.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Client Account Executive to join our Sales Team and play a key role in supporting both existing and new customer accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and organised individual who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering outstanding customer service.

Working closely with Account Managers, Operations Teams and customers, you will support the commercial activities of the business through managing enquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating customer requirements and helping to ensure the successful delivery of services.

No two days are the same. You may be supporting a long-standing corporate customer, preparing quotations for new business opportunities, coordinating customer requirements with operational teams or assisting with the delivery of specialist transport solutions.

The Role

As a Client Account Executive, you will be responsible for supporting customer accounts and providing administrative and commercial support across the Sales Department.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email. · Preparing accurate and competitive quotations for transport and logistics services. · Supporting Account Managers with day-to-day account management activities. · Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. · Coordinating customer requirements with Operations and Planning Teams. · Maintaining customer records, quotations and account documentation. · Assisting with contract administration and commercial reporting. · Supporting business development activities by identifying opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts. · Proactively engaging with prospective customers through telephone, email and networking activities to introduce Fly By Nite's services and capabilities. · Conducting outbound calls to prospective customers identified through market research, referrals, industry contacts and business development initiatives. · Supporting lead generation activities and assisting in the development of new customer relationships. · Maintaining accurate records of prospecting activity, customer interactions and business opportunities within CRM systems. · Providing exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the customer journey. · Assisting with booking amendments, operational updates and customer requests.

About You

We are looking for someone with the right attitude, personality and ambition.

You may already have experience in account management, customer service, sales support, logistics, transport or administration, but most importantly you will be someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service and wants to build a long-term career within a growing business.

You will be:

Experience & Skills

Essential

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Strong organisational and administrative abilities. · High attention to detail and accuracy. · Excellent customer service skills. · Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. · Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Desirable

· Experience within sales support, account management, customer service or administration. · Experience within transport, logistics or service-led industries. · Knowledge of CRM systems. · Experience working with customers in a commercial environment.
