Role Overview
This is a hybrid role. Our office is in Moorgate and we go in on Tuesdays and Thursdays (with flexibility) for collaboration, connection, and learning.
Ironclad is looking for a Customer Account Executive to own and scale the EMEA mid-market segment. They will help support our rapid scale and make an impact on our revenue goals in the European market.
Responsibilities
- Manage a customer book of business to drive expansion and retention by proactively identifying customer needs, uncovering growth opportunities, and positioning solutions to maximize customer value.
- This role will focus on renewals, cross-sell, upsell, and churn reduction.
- Execute a consistent and strategic sales process across the full customer lifecycle, including discovery, value articulation, negotiation, and close.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Implementation, Support, and Product teams to ensure seamless execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnership success.
- Maintain a book of 50-100 accounts ranging from $25K in spend to $210K.
- Have executive presence and experience with managing multiple stakeholders across Legal, procurement, and sales with a strong experience in multithreading to grow and expand deals.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in sales tools, and regularly report on progress toward individual and team targets.
- Continuously sharpen sales skills and deepen product knowledge by staying current on Ironclad’s capabilities and developing a strong understanding of the outcomes our customers are striving to achieve.
- Be very organized, disciplined in daily and weekly outputs, and have strong prioritisation skills to juggle a large book and identify key opportunities.

Key Skills and Requirements
- At least 3-4 years of account management or new business full sales experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- You’ve sourced and sold deals in the $25k-$250k ARR range and have experience running a full sales cycle on your own.
- Be AI forward and consistently learning how to optimize your day-to-day with a large book of business.
- Comfortable with basic sales tools and ability to utilize internal systems to surface upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your book of business.
- Excellent communication skills, and persistent follow-through on commitments to our customers.
- Strong value selling experience, Command of the message or MEDDPICC/MEDDICC strongly desired.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage complex deal cycles.
- Self-sufficient with a strong internal sense of urgency.
- Comfortable with commercial negotiation and willingness to iterate selling style as needed.
