The Role
This is a full-time, on-site Customer Account Manager position based in Greater Manchester. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of customer accounts, providing tailored support for refinancing and vehicle purchases while ensuring a smooth, transparent journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries promptly
- Explain finance products, terms, and eligibility clearly
- Process applications and maintain accurate records in internal systems
- Monitor account performance to identify opportunities for improved payment plans
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve complex customer issues efficiently
- Contribute to customer retention through proactive support
- Follow up on leads and promote suitable finance solutions
- Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Customer-focused mindset: Strong Customer Satisfaction and Customer Support skills to provide empathetic, clear, and solution-oriented service
- Account management experience: Ability to build long-term customer relationships while managing multiple accounts simultaneously
- Strong communication skills: Both verbal and written to explain financial options, negotiate terms, and collaborate with internal teams
- Analytical ability: Interpret customer data, assess finance eligibility, and refine payment plans
- Financial services background (preferred): Previous experience in motor finance, financial services, or a related customer-facing role is advantageous
- CRM proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems and office software for record-keeping
- Ethical and regulatory adherence: Commitment to high standards in a structured, target-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant education or training in business, finance, or a related field (though not compulsory without strong experience)
