About the Role
Founded in 2020 by BBC Apprentice Winner Joseph Valente, Trade Mastermind is the UK’s fastest-growing business education and coaching company for the construction industry. We teach tradespeople how to become businesspeople giving them the tools, systems, and knowledge to scale from the tools to seven figures and beyond. We’ve trained over 5,000 trade business owners, who on average achieve 370% growth in their first year with us.
In 2026, we’ll open our 20,000 sq. ft. Trade Mastermind University Headquarters in Peterborough, the first-ever university for trades featuring a 300-person event arena, a state-of-the-art podcast studio, and Peterborough’s first rooftop bar for our team and clients.
Now, we’re hiring a B2B Customer Account Manager to join our elite customer success division responsible for managing, supporting, and growing a portfolio of up to 100 trade businesses enrolled in our 3-year academy programmes.

- Deliver Customer Results: Track your customers’ monthly progress and ensure they achieve wins and results every month. Celebrate their milestones and keep them focused on growth.
- Upsell Growth Services: Identify what each business needs next and upsell the right in-house Trade Group Services to help them scale from websites and marketing to recruitment and finance solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
