Are you an experienced customer service or account management professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and working with data?
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading environmental compliance organisation looking for an Account Manager to join their growing team. This is a varied role combining customer relationship management, data analysis, and problem-solving, supporting businesses to meet their environmental compliance obligations.
What you'll be doing
Managing your own portfolio of customers, you'll act as their trusted point of contact, ensuring they receive an outstanding service while helping them navigate complex compliance requirements.
You'll:
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of customer accounts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to client queries.
- Analyse and manipulate data using Microsoft Excel.
- Explain complex data and compliance processes in a clear and customer-friendly way.
- Liaise with customers, compliance schemes, and third parties.
- Ensure customer data is accurate and submitted within required deadlines.
- Build knowledge of environmental compliance regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

What we're looking for
We're particularly interested in candidates with 3+ years' experience in a customer-focused role, such as:
- Account Manager
- Customer Success Executive
- Client Services Executive
- Customer Service Advisor
- Relationship Manager
- Contact or Call Centre Representative
- Customer Support Executive
You'll also have:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing larger or high-value customer accounts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A proactive, customer-first approach.

Qualifications
A degree is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with strong, relevant customer service experience.
GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths is required.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a Thrive Assessment as part of the recruitment process.
