About the Role

Each JoJo store is unique—whether it’s a two-floor trading experience, a quirky layout or an interesting location. These stores have a distinct Life of the Own and it's rooted in the relationships with their customers. Many of them remain loyal to the brand and the local store team.

The Unique Selling Point (USP) for JoJo in a changing retail world is the connections they build with customers.


Job Responsibilities

You'll essentially be the face of JoJo, providing a fantastic level of customer care and service that sets them apart. Your tasks include:

  • Guiding, informing, and assisting customers in making the correct purchase across their huge range of clothing and products. This could involve:

    • Measuring and advising on bra fitting
    • Discussing maternity wear
    • Demonstrating baby carriers to interested parents
  • Ownership of digital and physical sales channels:

    • Preparing and shipping Ship from Store or Click and Collect orders daily
    • Liaising with customers, both in-store and over the phone, on these Omni-Channel orders.
  • Continuous learning and product development:

    • Utilizing digital or virtual learning platforms to develop knowledge and retail skills.
    • Embracing new product knowledge and learning independently to increase sales opportunities.
  • Customer service excellence:

    • Actively listening to customers' needs to provide an effective best-fit solution.
    • Maintaining high standards and taking pride in keeping your store immaculate.

  • Flexible expectations: A typical week involves 5 x 6-hour shifts, though flexibility is required depending on store demands.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous retail, customer service, and sales experience is beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Competent IT skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Product Knowledge: Capability to learn, retain information on products, and communicate clearly.
  • Independent Learning: Strong self-development mentality with the curiosity to independently learn about new products.
  • Sales Approach: Empathetic, active listening, and understanding customer needs without adopting hard sales.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work harmoniously and respectfully within a small team.
  • Flexibility: Capacity to adjust to the needs of a 7-days-a-week retail environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Wanting to ensure the store always looks tip-top.

Minimum Age Criteria
