About the Role
Each JoJo store is unique—whether spanning multiple floors, showcasing quirky layouts, or nestled in a dynamic location. Our Unique Selling Point (USP) lies in the relationships we forge with our customers, many of whom remain loyal to both our brand and their local team. You’ll be the face of JoJo, delivering a level of customer care and service we pride ourselves on.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Guiding, informing and assisting customers in correctly purchasing our extensive clothing and product range—whether helping an expectant parent, an excited grandparent, or any number of busy shoppers.
- Upholding our B Corp principles by ensuring customer service aligns with our ethical values.
- Supporting our growing Omni-Channel strategy through Ship from Store and Click and Collect, preparing orders daily and liaising with customers via phone.
You’ll contribute to our vibrant retail environment by:
- Assisting customers with diverse needs—from bra measurements, maternity discussions, or demonstrating baby carriers.
- Processing Omni-Channel orders and ensuring flawless execution.
- Continuously upskilling through digital or virtual learning platforms.
A typical week involves a single 4-hour shift, though flexibility is required in alignment with store needs.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Sales
- Provide exceptional service to customers across all shopper demographics.
- Articulate product knowledge with clarity and enthusiasm on codes, measurements, and features.
- Identify customer needs and offer relatable solutions due to diverse shopping tasks.

Omni-Channel & Operational Support
- Prepare and dispatch in-store purchases as part of Click and Collect or Ship from Store offerings.
- Use systems to manage orders accurately and efficiently.

Store Maintenance & Retail Excellence
- Keep stores immaculate, maintaining our high standards of presentation.
- Collaborate within small teams to uphold ** JoJo’s customer-centric vision**.
Requirements

Experience & Attributes
- A background in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred.
- Competent IT skills and fast adaptation to new software and systems.

Customer Engagement
- Confident in listening actively and tailoring service to each customer’s expectations.
- Able to articulate product details persuasively while avoiding hard-sales tactics.

Teamwork & Flexibility
- Approachable with a blend of empathy and expertise to build strong relationships.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, multi-team environment with a commitment to customer-first values.
- Open to a 7-day-a-week schedule as required by store operational needs.
