Customer Advisor
Customer Advisor – Onsite (Hourly) 🏡
Hourly Rate: £13.02 to £15.10 (with an increase after 6 months). Entitlement varies by location—selected positions within London may offer slightly different pay.
We’re looking for dedicated team members to join us as a Customer Advisor, whether you're starting your career or transitioning from another retail role. This opportunity could be the beginning of something special.
About the Role
You’ll work onsite under the Assistant or Store Manager, with a focus on delivering phenomenal customer service—whether assisting on the tills, advising shoppers, or supporting in our back areas.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere by listening to customer needs, answering questions, and offering expert guidance on our high-quality products.
- Promote in-store offers and schemes to maximise customer engagement—knowledge is power!
- Keep products displayed attractively, maintain clean station areas, and ensure seamless till operations.
- Support team members to deliver an exceptional shopping experience—small gestures make a big impact.

What You’ll Need
We provide full training, so prior retail experience isn’t essential—but we do look for colleagues who thrive in fast-paced environments where: ✔ Effective communication comes naturally (listening, problem-solving). ✔ Working well as part of a team to achieve a fantastic results-driven culture. ✔ Seeing the value in tiny details (e.g., a personalised recommendation or a spotless floor). ✔ Passionate about role as a proud Boots ambassador, always ready to help customers make the right choices.
Ideal Bonus Skills (but not essential):
- Prior customer service or retail experience—helps, but isn’t required for an application.
