Customer Advisor

Customer Advisor

Salary: £36,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week

Introduction

We’re looking for an empathetic and driven Customer Advisor to join our team, working across:

  • Woodpeckers, SO42 7RX
  • Avon Reach, BH23 4AH

You’ll ensure our homes maintain high levels of occupancy by:

  • Nurturing quality leads into sales
  • Providing an outstanding customer experience throughout the process, including showroom visits for both private customers and professionals
  • Engaging with the local community and professional contacts as an ambassador for Colten Care, supporting local promotional activities and events

You’ll collaborate closely with the Home Manager and care home teams to offer a professional ‘warm welcome’ to visitors, including:

  • Escorting arrivals
  • Helping residents settle into their new homes

You’ll also serve as the compassionate and empathetic support for families and relatives by:

  • Responding to enquiries for assistance
  • Providing administrative support
  • Offering reassurance throughout the enquiry journey

About You

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A strong passion for helping people, particularly older adults
  • A listening ear and the ability to balance sales enthusiasm with genuine customer service
  • Core attributes:
    • Professional, organised, and self-motivated
    • A proven track record in a sales environment
    • Ability to use initiative and adapt to fast-paced environments

Key skills:

  • Literacy & numeracy with experience using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be trained and insured to drive (you’ll own and use your own car as travel is occupational)
