Customer Advisor (Brackley Library)

About The Role

You will work as part of a team, where you will use your customer-facing skills to deliver a wide range of frontline LibraryPlus services to a high standard, including the provision of activities and services for communities, children, and families.

As well as joining new borrowers and answering enquiries about books, you will also assist customers with West Northants Council queries such as Blue Badge and concessionary bus pass applications, making this an ideal opportunity for an excellent communicator.

This role will require regular weekend working and candidates will need to be flexible to the business needs of the service, including the ability to travel to other locations as required. This post is full time. The role will be based at Brackley Library.

About You

  • Can you provide excellent customer service to all visitors to Brackley Library?
  • Are you motivated and enthusiastic with a proactive approach?
  • Are you creative and excited about delivering and supporting memorable activities for children and their families?

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
