Customer Advisor
Part Time – 15 hours per week 3 Month Fixed Term Contract Location: B&Q, Colchester Hours: Shifts available Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM Hourly Rate: £13.10 (UK National)
About the Role

As a Customer Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of this mission, becoming an trusted expert who inspires and guides customers on their projects.
This role blends sales, stock management and store presentation with genuine customer service excellence. You’ll receive training in areas like paint-mixing and timber-cutting, but exceling at customer service will be your core priority every day.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and support to customers on home improvement projects
- Drive sales, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Manage stock, set up product displays, and maintain a polished store environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional in-store experience
- Contribute to operational tasks like merchandising and stock rotation
- Utilise new technology and adapt to evolving ways of working
