Customer Advisor

Customer Advisor (Onsite) – London

£13.02–£15.10 per hour (with increase after 6 months) Join us as a Customer Advisor – whether you're gaining your first retail experience or looking to develop your skills further. This role is an exciting opportunity to start or advance your career with Boots.

About The Role

You’ll work onsite and report to the Assistant Manager or Store Manager. Duties may include:

  • Assisting on tills, advising customers, or supporting in-store operations (e.g., back shop or stock management)
  • Building positive customer relationships by:
    • Listening actively to understand customer needs
    • Providing tailored advice on our products
    • Highlighting offers and promotions they may not have considered
  • Maintaining store display standards, ensuring smooth till operations, or supporting stock handling
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver a:
    • Clean, welcoming shopping environment
    • Consistent, high-quality customer experience

Training is provided, including Institute of Customer Service-accredited certification to empower you in your role.

  • Help customers feel valued through personalised attention
  • Attract shoppers to schemes and promotions via clear communication
  • Contribute to operational efficiency by managing product displays, improving stock organisation, and assisting with order fulfilment
  • Maintain a positive team dynamic through teamwork, adaptability, and adaptability under pressure

  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles, although not essential
