Customer Advisor (Motor Claims – Write-Off)

Join our dynamic Claims Team and help customers navigate total loss motor claims with empathy, expertise, and efficiency.

Working Hours & Shift Patterns

  • 37.5 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays
  • Rotational shift pattern between 09:00 – 17:30

Training

  • First 4 weeks of in-person training at our office

Hybrid Working Approach

  • Visit the office once a week for most roles
  • Fully remote on other days
  • Some office attendance required for training and events

Salary & Benefits

  • Starting salary: £26,230

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Advisor (Motor Claims – Write-Off), you will:

  • Support customers whose vehicles have been deemed total losses (write-offs)
  • Work closely with repair suppliers to accelerate returns
  • Provide clear guidance and proactive updates on claim progress
  • Ensure transparency to prevent confusion and improve the customer experience

Daily duties include:

  • Managing a portfolio of write-off claims
  • Handling inbound/outbound calls from customers and partners
  • Providing excellent customer service with empathy and clarity
  • Maintaining accurate records, reserves, and proactive case reviews

Person Specification

We’re looking for a Claims Customer Advisor with:

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Active listening and objection-handling ability
  • Negotiation and organisational skills
  • High level of attention to detail
