Customer Advisor
Customer Advisor – Boots (London)
Hourly Rate: £13.02–£15.10 (piratory increase after 6 months)
About the Role
Joining Boots as a Customer Advisor offers a fantastic opportunity—whether you’re looking to build experience or explore a new career in retail service.
In this role, you’ll support our stores onsite under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager. Your responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional customer care—empathising, answering questions, and recommending our pharmacy, wellness and beauty products.
- Sharing in-store offers and promotions to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintaining store efficiency—from queue management and cash-handling to stock organisation.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure a well-presented, welcoming environment.
- Benefiting from award-winning training, accredited by the Institute of Customer Service.

Responsibilities
Your role will focus on:
- Customer engagement: Listening, advising, and delivering a friendly, inclusive service.
- Upselling & promotions: Enhancing customer awareness of membership schemes and store benefits.
- Teamwork: Partnering with colleagues to create a pride-worthy shopping atmosphere.
- Operational support: Assisting on tills, managing stock, and maintaining tidiness throughout the store.
Skills, Experience & Attitude
Essential:
- Adaptability: Excelling in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Collaborative spirit: Enthusiasm for teamwork.
- Attention to detail: Belief in the importance of little gestures in customer care.
- Passion for Boots: Eagerness to champion our brand’s reputation.
Desirable (but not required):
- Customer service experience.
- Familiarity with retail operations.
