We’re working with a leading UK retail brand to recruit a Customer Analytics Manager to drive their digital transformation.
About the Role
You’ll be a commercially minded analytics leader positioned at the heart of the business, leveraging data to tackle the key challenges faced by marketing and product teams.
What You’ll Own:
- Own the CRM, Loyalty, and Marketing Performance Analytics agenda—transforming customer data into actionable insights that shape retention, engagement, and commercial decisions.
- Lead deep-dives into customer lifetime value (LTV), acquisition costs (CAC), and multi-channel attribution, informing critical commercial decision-making.
- Take ownership of planning, prioritisation, and execution, using Agile practices to manage backlogs and make strategic trade-off decisions.
- Deliver complex, high-value analysis and forecasting, setting the analytical standards through robust methodologies and sharp commercial judgement.
- Coach and develop analysts, fostering technical expertise, commercial awareness, and influence with stakeholders.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches, building trusted partnerships with CRM, Marketing, Digital and Commercial teams.

The Technical Bar
- Strong hands-on analytical background—proficient in complex SQL, Python or R, with a deep understanding of statistical methods (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, p-values).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
- Proven track record of leading analytical teams in complex environments—managing multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and deliverables, while coaching and motivating highly skilled teams.
- Significant experience in marketing campaign and CRM design/analysis, using customer data to drive retention, loyalty, and omnichannel personalisation.
- Skilled at measuring and optimising marketing impact—bridging business problems with analytical frameworks to deliver high-impact insights.
- Commercially savvy and data-driven, excelling at prioritising high-impact projects and communicating findings through compelling reporting and visualisations.
