Nightshift Manager
About the Role
Leading a dynamic overnight team to deliver critical replenishment operations across the store. This role involves working independently overnight to ensure smooth store operations, manage personnel, and uphold high standards of customer service and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Overnight Delivery Leadership:
- Lead a team overnight to execute all replenishment activities.
- Prioritise deliveries, organise warehouses, and restock shelves.
- Operate solo as a full store manager overnight, ensuring smooth execution and team wellbeing.

Operational Excellence:
- Maintain brilliant standards to ensure readiness for morning operations.
- Preserve a safe, healthy, and high-performing environment in an out-of-hours setting.

People Management:
- Managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring accurate scheduling and payroll.

Work Pattern:
- Full-time 4-night shifts (typically 22:00–08:00).
- A £4,500 premium on top of base salary.

- Previous line management experience in fast-paced, operational settings.
- Self-reliant leadership when operating without senior oversight.

- Commitment to brilliant customer service.
- Ability to coach teams effectively.

- Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs or analogous performance indicators. --success tracking measurable impact in sales, availability, customer satisfaction, or engagement.

- Proven ability to handle disciplinaries, performance issues, and fellow management.

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following must-have requirements:
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service and guiding colleagues to match those standards.
- Demonstrated experience in leading fast-paced, customer-facing team environments, with strong motivation, performance coaching, and operational stability.
- Experience with operational leadership, including managing store independently when senior staff are unavailable.
- Experience meeting or exceeding KPIs, making measurable contributions to sales, service standards, availability, or colleague engagement.
- Ability to manage employee relations, including delivery performance, absence, and other operational challenges.
Desirable Credentials
- Prior night-shift experience in a high-volume, operational environment.
- Demonstrates adaptability to physical and mental challenges of overnight work while fostering a supportive, inclusive team culture.
