What You’ll Be Doing

Plan and orchestrate the delivery of an online picking and delivery team to ensure the success of the in-store online service.

Act as a visible leader, engaging and coaching a large team of shoppers and drivers to deliver a seamless and safe shopping experience for all online and in-store customers.

Collaborate with other managers to ensure the overall success of the store’s shopping experience.

Manage performance, conduct disciplinaries, and ensure accurate scheduling and payroll—all crucial aspects of people management.
Note: Online teams work early mornings (typically 04:00–08:00) picking items for deliveries.
What Makes a Great Online Manager
- Previous experience in line management in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Exceptional customer service with the ability to coach colleagues to deliver the same.
- Ability to drive KPIs or performance indicators.
- Skills to handle disciplinaries, performance reviews, and employee relations.
- Operational resilience—able to lead effectively without relying on higher-up support.

Essential Criteria
✔ A proven track record of exceeding customer service standards and coaching others to do the same. ✔ Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment—showcasing motivation, performance drive, and operational reliability. ✔ Demonstrated operational leadership, including managing store operations independently when senior managers are absent. ✔ Success in meeting or exceeding KPIs, whether in sales, product availability, customer satisfaction, or colleague engagement. ✔ Experience managing employee relations, including performance reviews and absence management.
