What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and orchestrate the online picking and delivery service to ensure its success while coordinating in-store operations.
- Take a visible leadership role, engaging and coaching large teams of shoppers and drivers to deliver a smooth, safe, and efficient shopping experience—for online and in-store customers.
- Collaborate with other store managers to maintain excellence across all aspects of the shopping journey.
- People management is key to your role:
- Oversee performance and capability, including conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling/pay accuracy.
Note: Online teams operate early mornings, typically picking items from 04:00–08:00 for deliveries.
What Makes a Great Online Manager?
- Proven line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- A commitment to brilliant customer service, with the ability to coach and inspire teams to deliver the same.
- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs, alongside performance indicators.
- Experience handling employee relations, including disciplinary or performance concerns.
- Ability to lead operations independently when senior management is absent.

Essential Criteria
✔ Demonstrates excellent customer service and coaches colleagues effectively. ✔ Has experience leading teams in fast-paced, customer-facing environments, driving motivation and performance. ✔ Shows operational leadership by stepping in to manage store operations when necessary. ✔ Delivers measurable results—exceeding KPIs (e.g., sales, customer satisfaction, colleague engagement). ✔ Manages employee relations, including performance issues and absence.
