Customer Assistant
Lidl Customer Assistant – Contract Position
Summary £13.45 - £14.45 per hour | 10-16 hour contract | AM shifts including weekends | 30-35 days’ holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Pension scheme

As a Lidl Customer Assistant, no two shifts will be the same. From restocking shelves to handling the till or keeping the bakery running, you’ll stay busy, boost store performance, and never get bored. You’ll take pride in ensuring everything runs smoothly—from keeping the store spotless and organised to working closely with your team. Most importantly, you’ll ensure every customer leaves happy.

What You’ll Do
- Act as a Lidl expert, helping customers with questions, requests, or concerns
- Manage store deliveries efficiently
- Deliver excellent customer service with enthusiasm
- Top up the bakery with fresh goods
- Merchandise Non-Food products (middle aisles) and maintain presentation
What You’ll Need
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Flexibility (early starts/late finishes as needed)
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities
- Drive, determination, and a positive attitude
- A natural smile and friendly demeanour to inspire teamwork and delight customers
