Customer Assistant – Lidl

Summary

  • £13.45 - £14.45 per hour | Contracts: 16 & 30 hours
  • 30-35 days’ holiday (pro rata)
  • 10% in-store discount
  • Pension scheme
  • £2.00 boost per hour for bank holidays
  • £3.50 boost per hour for night shifts

About This Role

We’re made up of a team of people who are collaborative, passionate, and passionate about supporting each other. As a Customer Assistant, no two shifts will be the same. You’ll be at the heart of the action—restocking shelves, assisting at the tills, maintaining a clean and organised store, and ensuring every customer feels valued.

What You’ll Do

  • Help customers with product advice and queries
  • Efficiently manage deliveries as they arrive
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Proactively work in the bakery (preparing new goods)
  • Ensure middle aisles for Non-Food products are well-stocked and presented

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to start early or work late when required
  • Flexibility to adjust priorities as needed
  • A can-do attitude, energy, and passion for retail
  • A natural smile and approachable manner to set the tone for your team
