About the Role

As a Customer Assistant at Lidl, variety is your middle name. Welcome to a role that’s as dynamic as it is rewarding.

You might be:

  • Restocking shelves when the shop’s buzzing with customers.
  • Standing behind the till, helping shoppers navigate Lidl’s freshest produce.
  • Keeping your section spick and span—every aisle tidy, every surface gleaming.
  • Banks and nights make cigarettes. Ta: Extra pay! Earning up to £15.95/hour will be a blast!

And here’s the kicker: You’re going beyond expectations from Day One. Our teams support each other, we celebrate each other’s wins—and we’re all striving towards bigger goals. No major milestones here, just steady progress. With the right training, we will:

  • Help you excel in retail
  • Open doors to career growth—think becoming a Freshness Specialist, Non-Food Expert or Bakery Champion.
  • Treat you—and your ambition—like gold.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
