Customer Assistant – Lidl

Salary & Benefits

£14.80 – £15.30 per hour | 10-hour contract | 30–35 days’ holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Pension scheme Enhanced family leave | Long service award | Competitive pay plus £2.00/hr for bank holidays | £3.50/hr for night shifts

Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted Lidl expert, helping customers with product knowledge and queries
  • Efficiently manage deliveries as they arrive in store
  • Provide exceptional customer service with enthusiasm and a helping hand
  • Proactively restock the bakery with fresh goods
  • Organise and merchandise non-food aisles to maintain an appealing display

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on teamwork
  • Flexibility to start shifts early or work late when needed
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • A positive, helpful attitude—smile often, inspire your team, and make every customer’s visit great
