Customer Assistant – Early & Late Shifts | 20-Hour Contract (£13.45 - £14.45/hour)
Summary of Opportunities
- Hourly rate: £13.45 – £14.45 per hour | Bank holidays: +£2.00/hr | Nights: +£3.50/hr
- Contract hours: 20 hours | Holidays: 30–35 days (pro rata)

What You’ll Do
- Be a Lidl expert, helping customers with questions, orders, or requests efficiently
- Manage store door deliveries with speed and precision
- Deliver excellent customer service every shift with a smile
- Keep the bakery section stocked by baking fresh goods (no experience required?)
- Merchandise and organise our Non-Food middle aisles to create a seamless shopper experience
What You’ll Need
We’re looking for:
- Experience in fast-paced environments (retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles)
- Strong customer service skills—think problem-solving, empathy, and getting ahead of needs
- Flexibility for early starts or late finishes (shift patterns are structured but varied)
- Adaptability—priorities change; sometimes this means helping on the checkout line, sometimes in stock prep
- A positive attitude and the drive to make your team’s performance outstanding
- The ability to work well together—whether inspiring colleagues or putting a smile on a customer’s face
