About the Role
Join our team in the M&S Café – the heart of our store, where customers come to refuel. This dynamic, hands-on position thrives on pace and pressure, rewarding those who deliver exceptional service under demanding conditions.
You’ll step into the role of a brand ambassador, expertly crafting food and drink recommendations to elevate your customers’ experience. Your steady-handed support is crucial in keeping the café running efficiently, even during peak periods when efficiency and five-star service are on full display.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand ambassador: Act as a guide, offering expert food and drink recommendations
- Operations: Spearhead the smooth operation of the café during high-pressure periods
- Service excellence: Deliver consistently outstanding five-star service under tight deadlines
- Digital proficiency: Utilise our systems effectively for seamless order taking and processing
- Efficiency & effectiveness: Maintain pristine food safety standards while managing multiple queues
- Customer focus: Refuse no waiting—ensure lightning-fast and precise service delivery
