Customer Assistant - Dublin Road, Bray

Customer Assistant – Retail Roles at Lidl

From our Head Office to the shop floor and everywhere in between, our primary goal is to create and deliver a fantastic customer journey for everyone who shops with us.

Are you customer obsessed, high energy, and love learning every day? If yes, we’d love to have you!

About the Role

As a Customer Assistant on our standard 30-hour contract, you can earn €460+ per week, working across various shifts and tasks as part of a diverse team.

You’ll be selling alcohol (eligibility: must be 18 or over), contributing to a dynamic environment where every day brings new opportunities for growth.

What a Day Look Like? (No Two Days Are Ever Same!)

Here’s a snapshot of what your role might entail depending on your shift:

Morning Shift (5am or 6am)

  • Transform the shop floor: Restock award-winning products and prepare bakery offerings for opening time so customers can enjoy Go Full Lidl!
  • Collaborate with your team to ensure our signature products are ready for shoppers

Middle Shift (Mid-morning to early afternoon)

  • Maintain excellence: Keep our store spotlessly clean, well-presented, and fresh
  • Customer experience: Assist shoppers with queries, manage tills efficiently to minimise queues
  • Ensure all operations run smoothly between morning and afternoon rushes

Late Shift (Afternoon until closing)

  • Deliver top-class service: Assist customers with smiles while on the tills
  • Tidy finish: Restock missing items and prepare the store for the next day
  • Wrap-up: While ensuring the store looks polished, safe, and ready for registration

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
