Customer Assistant (Early Shifts Only) - Stillorglan

Customer Assistant – Retail Role (Standard 30-Hour Contract)

We rotate shifts daily, operating across morning, middle, and late shifts. Many tasks vary, offering a rich, evolving experience daily.


Key Information

✅ Must be 18+ (due to alcohol sales compliant task) ✅ Early morning shift availability is required for this location


Shift Patterns

🌅 Morning Shift (5am or 6am)

  • Prepare award-winning Lidl products for stock and deliver spick-and-span freshness
  • Get bakery ready for opening – because we love welcoming customers with fantastic food and fun

🔄 Middle Shift (Mid-Morning to Early Afternoon)

  • Maintain spotless store standards & hygiene
  • Rotate stock to keep everything fresh
  • Assist customers with products and checkout enquiries
  • Minimise till queues for seamless journeys

☀️ Late Shift (Afternoon/Till Closing)

  • Seal exceptional customer experiences with exceptional service
  • Operate checkout counters and fill spots that are missing from shelves
  • Help prepare the store for the next day

Your Daily Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Deliver a warm, pleasant and helpful experience—because customers are king.
  • Stock Loss Controls: Monitor and ensure stock integrity across the store.
  • Store Standards: Keep cleanliness, presentation and hygiene at the highest level.
  • Product Freshness & Rotations: Adhere to strict product quality goals.
  • Waste Management: Follow correct protocols for disposal.
  • Stock Counting: Contribute as part of the team to accurate inventory tracking.

Required Skills & Attributes
