Work Pattern
The role operates across two flexible weekly patterns:

Week 1
- Monday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Tuesday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Wednesday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Saturday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Week 2
- Sunday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Monday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Wednesday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Thursday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

This role requires working very early mornings, so we cannot consider applicants under the age of 18. This complies with health and safety legislation to ensure workplace safety.
Additionally:
- An **unsocial hours premium of +£3.00/hour applies only to shifts worked between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Core Responsibilities
- Selling & Servicing Customers: Provide quick, efficient, and exceptional service at every interaction.
- Product Expertise: Become knowledgeable about M&S Food offerings to confidently recommend products.
- Store Operations: Fast, focused execution—whether stocking shelves, filling orders, or assisting busy customers.
- Sales Growth: Support the team in driving sales, converting footfall into purchases.
- Digital Proficiency: Utilise M&S digital tools, such as Sparks (inventory system), and in-store technologies for a smoother customer experience.
- Teamwork: Collaborate seamlessly with high-energy teams to deliver a cohesive, fast-paced shopping experience.
- Adaptability: Flex across multiple store tasks, meeting variable demands—with enthusiasm.

Requirements & Skills
We’re looking for self-starters who: ✅ Are digitally confident ✅ Can work independently and remain sharp under pressure ✅ Maintain a customer-first mindset ✅ Bring flexibility and a positive attitude ✅ Have experience in retail or fast-paced environments, though not essential
No experience? No problem. We provide full training, but passion for customer service and aspiration for growth are non-negotiable.
