Customer Assistant – Lidl
Pay & Benefits
- £13.45 – £14.45 per hour for core shifts
- Bonus pay: +£2.00/hour for bank holidays, +£3.50/hour for night shifts
- 25–30 hour contract, including weekends
- 30–35 days’ holiday (pro rata)
- 10% in-store discount

** Responsibilities**
Core Duties
- Expertly assist customers with product questions, queries, and special requests
- Handle deliveries efficiently upon arrival
- Deliver friendly, reliable customer service at all times
- Ensure the bakery is restocked with fresh goods regularly
- Merchandise and organise Non-Food products in the middle aisles for maximum appeal
Requirements
Essential Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong customer service attitude with every interaction
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and work varied hours
- Proactive mentality with the drive to enhance your store’s success
- Warm, approachable demeanour to foster team spirit and customer loyalty
