Customer Assistant

Customer Assistant – Lidl

Pay & Benefits

  • £13.45 – £14.45 per hour for core shifts
  • Bonus pay: +£2.00/hour for bank holidays, +£3.50/hour for night shifts
  • 25–30 hour contract, including weekends
  • 30–35 days’ holiday (pro rata)
  • 10% in-store discount

** Responsibilities**

Core Duties

  • Expertly assist customers with product questions, queries, and special requests
  • Handle deliveries efficiently upon arrival
  • Deliver friendly, reliable customer service at all times
  • Ensure the bakery is restocked with fresh goods regularly
  • Merchandise and organise Non-Food products in the middle aisles for maximum appeal

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and work varied hours
