Customer Assistant - Market Street & Cafe
Food Service Team Role – Market Street and Café
Welcome to our Hands-on Food Team! We’re looking for friendly, energetic individuals to join our Market Street and Café, where we take pride in serving fresh, high-quality food.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience while preparing and serving some of our finest offerings, including:
- Café meals (various daily selections)
- Fresh pizzas
- High-quality fish dishes
- Premium meats
You’ll thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with structured routines and timed activities—ensuring our customers leave satisfied every day. Cross-training opportunities include:
- Replenishment (stock management)
- Customer Service
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving fresh, high-quality food with consistency and creativity
- Following safety and hygiene standards rigorously
- Offering a helpful, welcoming attitude to all customers
- Supporting customers in-store, resolving queries, and ensuring their needs are met
- Maintaining kitchen/café prep areas and workstations
- Assisting with stock inventory and replenishment processes
- Adhering to store policies and company-wide standards
Learning and Development Opportunities
Work across different team areas to grow your skills, with flexible training pathways in:
- Food prep and cooking (Market Street)
- Cafeteria service (Café)
- General store operations
