Customer Assistant - Market Street & Cafe

Market Street & Café Team – Your Role at Morrisons

We’re looking for friendly, hands-on individuals to join our Market Street and Café team, where you’ll prepare and serve our signature fresh, high-quality menu—everything from pizzas and fresh fish to meat dishes right on Market Street and café meals.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, structured environment, following timed routines to ensure smooth operations while delivering the best customer experience daily. Training extends across roles like Replenishment and Customer Service, so adaptability and strong teamwork are essential.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality food across our café and Market Street lighter menu
  • Work effectively in a busy, structured environment with clear processes
  • Support customer service, resolving queries and ensuring satisfaction
  • Assist in replenishment and general store operations
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in food prep areas
  • Flexibly support colleagues to meet customer demands

About You

We’re looking for customer-focused people with: ✔ A helpful and friendly approach—our teams rely on positive interactions to make every day better for customers. ✔ A passion for staying active and hands-on in a busy kitchen or service environment. ✔ Ability to work well under pressure and in a structured setting. ✔ Comfort using equipment safely and following set procedures. ✔ Commitment to supporting customers, resolving issues with care.
