Customer Assistant – Operations (M&S)
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be the backstage powerhouse of our stores, ensuring everything runs smoothly through:
- Managing stock, deliveries, and behind-the-scenes operations to keep the shop floor efficient
- Maintaining floor readiness—fast, focused, and urgent execution of tasks
- Working across the store where needed, adapting to tight deadlines and changing demands
- Using digital tools confidently to track deliveries, manage inventory, and ensure product availability
Additionally, the role includes:
- Supporting team cohesion—collaborating with colleagues across functions
- Handling physical tasks with high energy and precision

Weekly Work Pattern
Week 1
- Tuesday – 16:00–22:30
- Thursday – 16:00–22:30
- Friday – 16:00–22:30
- Saturday – 16:00–22:30
Week 2
- Monday – 16:00–22:30
- Thursday – 16:00–22:30
- Friday – 16:00–22:30
- Saturday – 16:00–22:30
Note on Premium Pay:
- +£3.00 per hour added for shifts worked between 22:00–06:00.
