About the Role

Join our team at Marks & Spencer (M&S) as a Customer Assistant in Operations. You’ll be the unsung hero behind the scenes, ensuring our stores run seamlessly. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role that requires agility, precision, and a willingness to adapt.

You’ll oversee stock management, deliveries, and logistics—keeping shelves full, spaces clean, and operations running smoothly. Whether it’s moving heavy stock, coordinating deliveries, or supporting behind-the-scenes operations, your role is critical to a flawless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory, deliveries, and stock movements with ** speed, accuracy, and urgency**
  • Support store-wide operations, adapting quickly to shifting demands
  • Use digital tools to track deliveries and monitor stock levels efficiently
  • Collaborate with teams across the store to maintain flow and organisation
  • Assist with early morning and late-night tasks, ensuring readiness for store opening and operational excellence
  • Uphold health and safety standards while working in a high-intensity retail environment
