Customer Assistant - Service

Service Team Member (Checkout & Kiosk) – Morrison’s

Join our friendly team and deliver exceptional customer service at checkouts, self-service till, and kiosks. Help customers have a smooth, memorable shopping experience while enjoying flexibility, great perks, and career growth.

About the Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth transactions, cashiering expertise, and a welcoming atmosphere. As a versatile team player, you’ll also support other departments like Market Street and Replenishment—making this an ideal role if you thrive in a busy, hands-on environment and enjoy helping out wherever needed!

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with their shopping needs, processing transactions smoothly and efficiently
  • Provide friendly, attentive service to create a positive experience
  • Operate and maintain checkouts, self-service tills, and kiosks safely and effectively
  • Support Market Street and Replenishment teams as required
  • Adhere to company policies and health & safety guidelines

Requirements & Qualities

  • Helpful, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
  • Enjoys physical work and staying active on your feet
  • Thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment
  • These skills aren’t required but are a bonus:
    • Basic cash handling and till operations experience
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems

Note: We only recruit individuals over the school leaver’s age. Some roles require you to be 18+ for health & safety reasons.
