Customer Assistant - Service
Service Team Member – Checkout, Self-Serve & Kiosk
About the Role
We’re looking for friendly, approachable people to join our Service team, providing exceptional customer experiences at checkouts, self-serve tills, and kiosks.
You’ll assist customers with their shopping, process transactions smoothly, and deliver outstanding service with a warm smile—ensuring they leave feeling valued and welcome.
This role also includes cross-team support, such as assisting our Market Street or Replenishment teams, making it ideal for those who enjoy flexibility and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Create a great customer experience at all service points
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide support across the store as part of a cohesive team
- Adhere to health and safety protocols when handling equipment and processes
Requirements
- A helpful and friendly attitude—always putting customers first
- Enthusiasm for hands-on work and remaining active
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Comfortability with technology and adherence to procedural safety
- Dedication to resolving customer queries with patience and efficiency
