Customer Assistant - Travel Money - Handforth

Travel Money Team Member (Evenings) – Marks & Spencer

Work Pattern

Five days a week with the following shifts:

  • Tuesday: 18:30–22:30
  • Wednesday: 18:15–22:15
  • Thursday: 18:15–22:15
  • Saturday: 16:15–20:15

About the Role

Join our Travel Money team—the hub where customers turn for confidence, clarity, and outstanding service before their adventures. This is an ideal role for someone who:

  • Thrives on connection

  • Delivers accuracy and service seamlessly

As a key trusted expert, you’ll:

  • Help customers choose the right travel products with personalised recommendations.
  • Ensure smooth digital transactions (checking rates, completing payments, and supporting customers across all channels).

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Confidence: Use our tools to complete transactions quickly, check exchange rates, and support customers across all Travel Money channels.
  • Accuracy & Compliance: Follow safe, legal, and financial-crime processes to protect customers and the business.
  • Customer-First Service: Be fast, focused, and proactive—engaging customers to spot opportunities and deliver incredible experiences consistently.
  • Team Support: Share Travel Money expertise, support colleagues across the store, and help build confidence and capability in others.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Quickly adjust to store priorities, maintain ‘best-in-class’ standards (presentation, availability, and service).
