Customer Assistant

Customer Assistant (Customer Service Team) – Lidl

Summary

  • Pay: £13.45 - £14.45 per hour
  • Contract type: 25-hour contract (5 AM shifts)
  • Holiday: 30–35 days’ holiday (pro rata)
  • Discount: 10% in-store discount
  • Pension: Scheme included
  • Bonus pay: Extra £2.00 per hour for bank holidays | Extra £3.50 per hour for nights

Your role will involve:

  • Restocking shelves and managing deliveries when they arrive
  • Helping customers with questions, queries, and product requests
  • Maintaining till operations and ensuring a smooth shopping experience
  • Keeping the store clean, tidy, and well-organised
  • Topping up the bakery with fresh goods and merchandising Non-Food products

What You’ll Do

  • Become a Lidl expert, assisting customers with product knowledge and queries
  • Handle deliveries efficiently as they arrive
  • Provide exceptional customer service with warmth and professionalism
  • Top up the bakery section by baking fresh goods when needed
  • Organise and maintain the middle aisles of Non-Food products

  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to stay positive
  • Flexibility, including early starts and longer shifts if needed
  • Adaptability to handle changing priorities
