About the Role
Join Marks & Spencer as a Customer Assistant in our Food section, where you’ll work at the frontline of the UK’s fastest-growing retailer. We’re not just looking for someone to fill shelves—for dedicated colleagues who thrive under pressure, deliver five-star service, and embrace the transformation we’re driving.
We’re seeking passionate individuals who:
- Take pride in their knowledge of M&S Food products
- Are ready to roll up their sleeves and pivot quickly
- Meet strong customer demand head-on with resilience
You’ll be our resilient brand ambassador, confidenceyl recommending and selling our newest food products while ensuring every customer feels valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver remarkable service in a high-speed, high-pressure Food retail environment
- Serve, sell, and fill shelves while driving sales growth in a dynamic retail setting
- Utilise digital tools (e.g., Sparks App, in-store devices) to enhance the customer experience and streamline service
- Remain sharp, agile, and focused during peak demand periods
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy team culture, supporting colleagues to deliver a seamless experience
- Embrace flexibility to adapt to changing store demands—no two shifts are the same

Requirements & Qualities

Working Pattern
- Sunday: 11:15–20:00
- Monday: 18:00–22:00
