About the Team

You will join our Customer Base Sales team, selling into enterprise-level clients across the world. You will work within our Sales & Marketing function, focusing on commercial activity and joining a high-performing team thriving in a high-pressure environment. This is an international and collaborative team with a super fun culture, driven by diversity and achievement.


About the Person

You are a team player with a positive can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. Ideally, you have a strong understanding of Workday, or other HR and Finance platforms.

You thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where constant adaptation and innovation are key. Willingness to travel at least once per quarter for client visits, conferences, and user groups is essential.

As a high-performance contributor in a quota-driven, competitive and pressurised environment, you must possess the ability to plan and prioritise your time effectively to meet deadlines according to business and customer requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years direct selling experience in SaaS sales, closing deals in Sales Executive or Account Management roles, with proven experience in value-based consultative selling, quoting, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting. Experience in selling to the Office of CHRO or CFO (to HR/HRIT and Finance Leads).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, including active listening, written articulation, verbal presentation, with a proven capability to deliver value-based proposals.
  • Educational Background/Professional Experience: Minimum Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Arts, Science, Business, Information Technology, or equivalent professional sales experience.
  • Proficiency: Experience with Dynamics 365 or other CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Desirable

  • Experience with Workday certification or selling into Workday customers and HRIS/Finance.
  • Prior experience in Account Planning, including segmenting product whitespace, defining wallet share, and using a tech stack such as ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Background in Inside Sales, Sales Development, or Account Management.

About the Job

Your role involves retaining and growing our existing customer base within your designated EMEA territory. As the Account Lead, you will be fully responsible and accountable for all Workday product commercial activity and account management matters related to these customers.

You will collaborate closely with your 1:1 mentor, along with a knit-knit group of Account Directors and Account Executives, fostering strong account ownership in the region.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, both individual and collaborative, to generate high-quality pipeline.
  • Engage in account planning and prospecting with Account Managers, focusing on feelers and opportunity qualification. Drive these activities independently from Discovery to Qualification.
  • Deep understanding of buyer personas, their challenges, and how these relate to Workday. Actively listen, establish trust, articulate challenges, and propose tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Base Marketing Manager, Account Managers, and Directors/VPs to assist in demand generation—idea execution, messaging, and strategies for nurturing and converting leads.
