Customer Care Representative
About the Role
As a Customer Care Representative, you will be the central link between the customer, operations, sales team and our Global Business Solution Center to ensure client’s requirements are met in the most efficient and cost-effective way. You will build strong relationships with customers, act as the voice of the customer within Givaudan, and manage the sales order process through to shipment for assigned customers and affiliates.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Project Execution
- Execute the Customer Care strategy and follow global guidelines
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in Customer Care and participate in relevant projects
Subject Matter Expertise
- Provide support for assigned customers and affiliates to meet order requirements
- Escalate issues where appropriate
- Actively collaborate with the Customer Care team to enhance customer intimacy and experience
- Resolve order changes, issues, and handle customer complaints both internally and externally
- Determine corrective action with support from the Support Office and Control Tower
- Prepare debit/credit notes and process quality notifications and returns
- Set and maintain customer expectations while building strong relationships
- Proactively acquire and act upon Customer feedback
Operational Support & Coverage
- Maintain accurate customer records, including contracts, labelling, packaging, and stock requirements
- Provide coverage and support assigned customer accounts for other team members
- Optimise communication based on the urgency and type of issue
- Resolve difficult situations with customers efficiently
Account Management & Improvement
- Follow new customer/product processes and contribute toward improving new customer experiences
- Participate in customer visits and presentations when required

Requirements
- Education: At least a High School or Secondary Education Diploma. An Associate or University Degree is preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English plus another language(s) strongly preferred.
- Experience: 1+ year in the industry, ideally with a customer-facing role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated Customer Relationship Management
- Basic knowledge of inventory management
- Negotiation skills
