Department: Commercial, Supply and Trading

Location: Manchester Office

Description

Greenergy delivers safe, efficient and reliable fuel solutions to customers across road, aviation and marine sectors. As an international transportation fuel supplier, we combine traditional and renewable energy solutions to support our customers through the energy transition.

Commitment to innovation and a drive to do things differently have seen Greenergy grow from a bedroom start-up to supply transport fuels in the UK, Ireland and Canada, as well as being a leading European manufacturer of waste-based renewables.

We’re looking for a confident and organised Customer Care Representative to join our Manchester-based team (part of the wider Commercial team). This is a busy, fast-paced role where you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling calls, emails and live operational queries, placing fuel orders and building delivery KPI data.

The environment can be complex and reactive, so we’re looking for someone who can stay calm under pressure, handle challenging conversations, multi-task effectively and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues across the business. You’ll need to be curious, flexible and comfortable asking questions to develop your understanding and help deliver the best possible customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritise activity across four key workstreams: telephone calls, the Fuel Orders inbox, the Customer Care inbox and reactive operational tasks
  • Ensure real time delivery issues are communicated effectively between the Flexigrid operation and the customer
  • Process customer fuel orders received by telephone or email
  • Assist customers with same or next day deliveries to prevent stock outages
  • Handle all customer queries in a timely and effective manner
  • Report, investigate and close out high level events, ensuring all relevant information is captured and recorded appropriately
  • Compiling KPI data for internal and external reporting
  • Assist with the system set up of new customers when new business has been secured by the account management teams
  • Identify and act on any opportunity to enhance the customer experience and our service offering
  • To always work harmoniously and respectfully with colleagues in Customer Care and other departments
  • Role model the Greenergy values
  • Carry out any other reasonable task(s) as requested.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
