Job Description

Multi-Skilled Customer Care Technician – Yorkshire

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Customer Care Technician to join our Customer Service team in Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while carrying out high-quality remedial works within occupied homes. You will play a key role in ensuring our homeowners receive a professional, right-first-time service, helping us maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive remedial works in occupied homes.
  • Complete a variety of multi-trade repairs including carpentry, plaster patching, decorating and general maintenance.
  • Diagnose defects and identify effective solutions.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each visit.
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure all works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Report recurring issues and assist with identifying long-term solutions.
  • Source materials required for repairs and manage van stock effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records, expenses and job updates.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety requirements, company procedures and relevant building standards.
  • Build positive relationships with customers while respecting their homes.

About You

  • Qualified in a recognised trade or able to demonstrate extensive multi-trade experience.
  • Previous experience within housebuilding, property maintenance or customer care.
  • Strong practical skills across multiple trades, particularly carpentry, decorating and plaster repairs.
  • Good understanding of building regulations, quality standards and defect rectification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and prioritise effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence.
